Summary: Two Knockouts In Love!! Pretty boy Kaoru Komatsuna is self-conscious about his feminine good looks and his cute, but girly, name. Handsome school boxing champ Kubo just happens to pick up Kaoru's notebook and proceeds to make fun of his strange name. Kaoru gets angry and knocks down the champ. This inspires Kubo to desperately try to convince Kaoru into becoming a boxer. After doing his best to resist him, Kaoru finds himself falling for the relentless knockout, Kubo. This yaoi comedy packs a punch!

My comments: Almost DNF'ed but I wanted to see what they were like as a happy couple - did it pay off? Honestly not really.

This is a slapstick comedy with comedic violence. I personally don't find that kind of violence funny at all and this manga has a LOT of Komatsuna punching Kubo for every little thing. I do wish I had DNFed. I'm sure to others the cuteness was worth it if they can handle the violence especially back when it came out.

A large part of the plot revolved around Komatsuna feeling like everyone sees him as a girl and wanting an ideal manly body while liking boxing. I did find the boxing aspect unique but the 'you see me as a girl' thing got annoying after a while especially with the sexism and transphobia thrown in.

Aw, Rin talking about always wanting to fight demons together.

Chapter 75: Snakes want Shura to have a baby?!

Shirou rescued young Shura from a Baba Yaga and she became his apprentice.

Shura is going to die soon??

Chapter 76: She's in a contract with Hachiroutarou Ookami, a dragon god. The illuminati want him. Shura's ancestor exchanged the life spans of descendants for a demon sword. 😲

Wow, that backstory was interesting. So Shura will die at 30 because of that contract, what a selfish woman.

Hahaha so that's how Shura met Shirou and get her name. Shura became an amazing woman. 🥲

Well this got dark(er).

Chapter 77: Geeze that had me on the edge of my seat. Is Rin's attack really called Campfire. 😂

The thing is, Yukio meant some of what he said to deceive Hachiroutarou, that's why it was so convincing.

Shura is free, for the first time in how long her line is free from Tatsuko.

Chapter 78: Okay I feel a little bad for Hachiroutarou, immortality keeps him from dying but alive he at least had 'Tatsuko' to look forward to, then he loses her when the boys free Shura from the contract.

Chapter 6: A pure soul disappeared from the 'get in heaven automatically' list and Eni is sent to investigate. Of course Dewi is the cause.

I was not expecting the dude to have summoned Dewi and straight up murder Eni. wtf

Chapter 7:

Thaat's something.

OMG Eni looks like a zombie and her boobs won't cooperate. 😂 A 'dead' angel biting someone makes them a zombie apparently. What was that zombie dance lMAO

What does Eni mean 'a true demon could never sacrifice himself for the one he loves'? He was a human when he did it.

Man that was sad, Ana didn't want him just because he had wings and a horn, but she's okay with him as an angel because she fell for his purity even though angels have wings too and the halo.

"Light and dark...angel and demon...even so diametrically opposed, we're fated to be drawn together. So romantic!"

Looks like he can't become an angel until he dies though.

Chapter 8: Yep, Dewi is a big softy. 😭 What a touching story of an old lady who was going to die, but her son was coming home so Dewi extended her life instead of taking it. And the cat. 😭😭

Chapter 9: Beach chapter...sorta... Eni lost Dewi's earring and they recruit angels to help find it.

An angel should never say "shit the bed" while looking that lovely. 🤣 Then she got super into her conductor performance, oh girl. And the permanent fissure!!

Summary: Shy bookstore clerk Kosuke Mikado has the ability to see ghosts and spirits, an ability he wishes he didn’t have, since what he sees usually terrifies him. Rihito Hiyakawa, an exorcist whose supernatural powers are as strong as his social graces are weak, doesn’t seem to fear anything, mortal or otherwise. When this odd couple gets together to solve the bizarre cases that come their way, their work methods may not be entirely safe for work.

My comments: Hiyakawa can touch his soul to Mikado's to amplify his power and see ghosts, their souls are compatible and it feels good when Hiyakawa touches Mikado's soul, which is bigger than normal people's. Mikado is really reluctant at first but between the money and the pleasure gets roped in.

This isn't an explicit manga but the premise is pretty kinky. Mikado is as close to one can be to coming without actually doing so when Hiyakawa touches him and his soul. "You get turned on really easy."

Each chapter is a new case, they get solved pretty easily with the duo's powers but I enjoyed them all. There's an overarching case going on as well to keep you hooked and the volume ended on a cliffhanger.

Hiyakawa is definitely some form of neurodivergent, I'm definitely curious how he grew up.

I quite enjoyed this first volume and look forward to reading more!

My comments: Beautiful story, really takes you on the journey of these characters and it made me cry. I love how the flashbacks were done and the way Hakyung's male form was shown opposite his crossdressing one in some scenes.

I read the PG-15 version so I hope to read the uncensored one someday. What was shown though was really tender and lovely. As soon as the print edition comes out I'm buying it if it's uncensored. It's too bad the novel isn't translated and the author doesn't seem to have more works.

Chapter 224: Geeze when Senkuu woke up alone I was so worried, things are the most tense they've ever been since this is the biggest plot point.

Okay it's weird seeing them without the cracks/ink on their face.

Chapter 225: Aw, Stanley and Kohaku fist bumping.

OMG Ryuusui hitched a ride?! That little shit. XD

Senkuu looks really good in his space outfit.

Chapter 226-227: It's funny watching Stanley panic when Kohaku almost used the Medusa.

Interesting, they found the USA flag and cosmic rays made the red and blue portion white.

Holy shit, Why-Man mimicked Senkuu's voice to get Kohaku to release the Medusa so he could use it. She managed to throw it far enough away but now they're down a tool.

They found the dark stain on the moon and Senkuu has figured it out!!!

Chapter 228: Seriously a struggle to breathe reading this chapter, now that the answers are coming out.

Gen advising Senkuu from afar. <3 Of course Senkuu still does it his own way. 😂

Why-Man is the Medusa devices themselves is all I'm understanding so far.

Chapter 229: The birds were a test run, no surprise there. I understand a little better this chapter.

Chapter 230: Basically to Why-Man petrification = eternal life, so it kept trying to impose that on them, and it wanted humans to keep them restored as well, it overestimated human intelligence and it took too long for humanity to start waking up.

It must've been hard to see Senkuu swept away like that out of reach. I wonder if Xeno guessed Senkuu's thoughts.

Chapter 231: Wow, Why-Man really left, or at least all but one did. Can it really find another planet with more intelligent life than Earth?

So close to the end now and I think I was spoiled on what happens next?? We'll see.

Also wanko seme getting sexier through the process for being a better lover. 4/5 stars

Mesuoniichan hiroimashita (I Picked up a Bitch Oniichan): Kind, dense guy x stray that he picked up. Mild petplay. I like the so called 'cabbage roll boy' too, who seem uninterested in sex but turn out to be horny when they get going. 4/5 stars

Choukyou Column (Training Column): Just as a scenario from the author where a boy raised to be a sex toy falls falls mutually for his sex trainer and they escape together. 2/5 stars

Near the topmost deck of an interstellar generation ship, Dorothy Gentleman wakes up in a body that isn’t hers—just as someone else is found murdered. As one of the ship’s detectives, Dorothy usually delights in unraveling the schemes on board the Fairweather, but when she finds that someone is not only killing bodies but purposefully deleting minds from the Library, she realizes something even more sinister is afoot.

My thoughts: This was a nice cozy murder mystery with a sci-fi twist palate cleanser. I enjoyed the family aspect and character interactions, and there were two F/F and one M/M relationships. I'll be continuing this series.

Summary: This a story concerning sweets and two girls. One is a ghost who wanders around in the hospital, and another is a patient with a heart condition. It's cute! It's fluffy!

My comments: Really charming art style/designs. The story...made me cry like a baby multiple times. The facial expressions and portrayal of grief were really good.

Spoilers: One girl is a ghost, the other has a heart disease and lost her vision. The ghost sacrifices herself for the girl. There's a last chapter where it was all a dream and the two are grown up and together to soothe over the pain a little.

My comments: Two people who've been idiots for over 20 years have to get their shit together or lose their chance to be together.

The first full time together was a culmination of 20+ years and was amazing but also sad, they could've been doing it this whole time. 😭

The scene were Maiko introduces her boyfriend and talks about having two dads and moms was so sweet.

I love cuddling scenes and this one had a lot. 🥹

The humor was so silly and great in this.

Chapter 28-29: Summer vacay and camps. Lol at Yukino's tomato shirt. Nobara charging up on Yukino so they won't see each for five days. 🥹

Chapter 30: Finally some info on Kinoshita and Okisaki. They were childhood friends. Okisaki's parents were absent and she couldn't trust kids who tried to befriend her because their parents forced them. People found her creepy because she acted older than her age and didn't show much emotion. She also has a sadistic side that likes to see Kinoshita suffer sometimes...

Chapter 7: Nene going through some character growth about her past actions!

What 'responsibility' is Hanako talking about?

I wonder what Hanako's weakness is? And what does the toilet have to do with how he became Hanako?

Alright I don't normally like romance in my shounen but I think I like Hanako and Nene. It's probably doomed though which is par for the course for het pairings I've liked in the past.

That new char guy's name is Natsuhiko. New girl character too.

Chapter 8: Lots of romance vibes. Nene thinks Hanako likes her and that he might confess under this 'confession tree' that just suddenly appeared.

Two guys practiced confessing under a tree and suddenly became a couple. Too bad it wasn't real and is played for laughs

Aww Hanako's apology for upsetting Nene. Now she wants to know more about him. I'm pleasantly surprised by the pacing in this manga, it feels just right.

Chapter 9: Minamoto Teru is Kou's older brother?! Teru's not much of a prince in private it seems.

This chapter reminds me of what Nene went through accepting Hanako despite knowing he killed someone.

Chapter 10: Man Teru is twisted, I wonder what he really thinks of Kou in his heart?

Listen at Teru spouting bullshit without actually knowing Hanako. *smh*

Hanako cryiiing. T_T I don't believe they were all fake tears, he really felt what he was saying and there's no way Teru would've been moved by tears anyway.

Summary: Chika, Nao, and Ryou are all friends...with extra, extra benefits. During a threesome, Nao, a loving and mischevious boyfriend with plenty of affection to go around, proposes Chika try out being a bottom. At first, Chika refuses, but after some convincing from Nao, he eventually gives his ass up to Ryou. Once Chika and Ryou start doing it, a whole new door opens to their relationship.

My comments: Probably the first one I've read where the polyamory isn't just a triad, one of the boys has a girlfriend who gave him permission to do it with the guys. I think the relationship ends when Chika and Ryou get together though, sadly (except in the omake).

I liked some aspects of it but the execution left something to be desired and I'm not big on a reluctant uke. It is interesting how we saw Ryou's feelings for Chika from three different angles. Ryou is a stoic type so doesn't show too much expression. 3.5/5 stars

Rainy Day Syndrome: Nephew x uncle. Nephew saw uncle having sex and they became estranged but not for the reason they thought. Not particularly likable characters plus the rape scene is ACK. 0.5/5 stars

My comments: Age gap boss-subordinate who don't get along. Subordinate blackmails boss - sex for keeping his safe space a secret. It started off dicey because of the blackmail but I was okay with how it worked out by the end. The sex was smoking hot. The top showed his enjoyment, too, always happy for that!!

The cat was so unrealistic looking but it was so great, I live it so much. 😸

I'll probably buy a physical copy at some point.

My thoughts: Almost DNF'ed before 8%, it reads like it was written by a horny man who can't write a paragraph without including sex or/and crass humor comments. The accents/voices didn't help either. I kept going because I liked how heartfelt the characters are and the sex is hot. By the end I was fully invested. It just goes to show that first impressions aren't everything.

Dan is definitely neurodivergent, and that left scars on him because of the way he was treated. Sejin has his own scars, with his mother's death and being adopted from Korea to the US, some people treated him differently. I love how compatible they are and how they naturally helped each other just by being there for each other and listening.

The side-characters really helped lift up this story! Even the cats. Like Sejin, I wouldn't normally trust someone who doesn't like cats but Dan's situation is too silly for that (I feel bad they don't like him, rather). I appreciated the work the author put into studying adopted Korean children and the nuance in how they feel about it. I enjoyed Sejin's interest in K-Pop and him teaching choreography to children. I even got a little interested in climbing.

I was not expecting the ending to go there at all and it didn't help that I forgot there was a second book! I cried at work! I also didn't know that fact in the afterword about the K-Pop group Astro so that made me upset too. 😦

Man, I want to read the sequel like right now because of that cliffhanger.

We meet the vice-captain of Frostheim Touma (stylized as Tohma). The leader Jin hasn't shown his face in a while. A gossiping girl says that there's no point going for Jin because he has Tohma. "There seems to be an unshakable bond of trust between them." I guess 'Jin's friend' disgraced himself so Tohma took his place. 🤔

MC looks around and finds a damaged and unused Church. The area is called Cathedrale Terminate and it was recently vacated, it looks like someone rampaged. 🤔

Kaito trying and failing at being smooth. *smh*

It's cool that the looks and surroundings of each house is different, even the weather changes a lot in Jabberwock.

Luca has a brother that likes shortbread biscuits.

MC's first day of classes. Ghouls are considered anomalies. 'Demonic pacts, possessions and curses are all categorized as anomalies'.

Students can choose one artifact to 'license' for use. MC already has her ring so she can't. Luca picked out twin swords. Kaito's is a bow. I wanted to see what MC would try with her artifact...

And now MC has to deal with it?! At least her memory can't be wiped. Not only that, the ghouls keep destroying the anomalies that are needed for research. MC has the biggest stake in them being captured alive. Man, the bad ghouls are not going to be happy about her at all. :/

Of course Frostheim is going to be her first mission partner. 😭

MC goes to meet the leader of Frostheim Jin. Tohma is telling him about a 'corpse walking around involving a high-rank anomaly.', and Jin isn't feeling well.

Well as expected the meeting did not go well, he tried to erase her memories and then threatened her.
