Poll: Replying to older posts

Oftentimes I don't get through my full reading list until many entries are dated a few weeks out, and sometimes I feel self-conscious about replying to those so I was curious about people's opinions on it. I don't know if the poll works, feel free to comment with your answer instead. 😅

I don't mind at all- honestly, I quite like it! I ramble a lot in entries (sometimes about my life, sometimes about fandom thoughts), so it's like...I have many words, feel free to catch up whenever? I'm always happy for interaction/thoughts/etc XD

I don't mind! I always tell people to feel free to backread. It might be a little odd if someone replies to something from, like, 2006 or something, but a couple of weeks is no big deal.

Poll doesn't seem to work, but I'm happy whenever people stop by to chat, even if a few weeks later :D I love Dreamwidth for that. There isn't as much need for immediacy, and I know some friends who only check their reading page every few days or weeks because that's what fits their life right now. It's great everyone can participate at the pace that works best for them! And if I wrote a post about something, I'm always happy to hear people's thoughts on the topic, too, even weeks later :)

I like it! Especially considering I post book/TV/movie reviews, so a time limit would make no sense.

I like people replying to old posts and comments of mine UNLESS it's to argue with me. If it's an old post/comment, I've probably forgotten the feeling/ event/ opinion that made me comment all those months/ years ago and don't know how to respond to a sudden attack.

I love people commenting on my old fanfics though. Once I had a reply to one I wrote 6 years ago, it was a lovely surprise!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who can't click on your poll though!
