Chapter 1-2: In the US version, it was split up into Duelist and then Millennium World from hereon. This could get annoying to track.

Aw Yuugi didn't enter the tournament because he wanted to go against Kaiba. =P

Kaiba's been in a coma in the hospital this whole dang time?? For some reason I figured he'd recovered after like a few days, maybe a few weeks. But I guess having a part of your self wiped (especially the evil) and having to reconstruct yourself would be especially taxing.

Is this the first time Yami Yuugi has come out in front of Mutou-jiichan? I've never seen Yami Yuugi so upset!

Chapter 3: I don't think I like this arrogant, hot-tempered Yami Yuugi, bring back the stoic and quietly caring one. 😭

Man, wouldn't Yuugi have joined the tournament anyway? Especially if he found out Kaiba was going to be there.

Chapter 4: At least Yuugi is able to keep in touch with his grandpa through the camera. 😭

How does Jounouchi know Pegasus dug his own eye out to put the millennium one in?

Used to be that Yami could only come out in certain circumstances. I think I'm just going to have to take this new personality as him really waking up after coming in contact with Bakura's millenium item. I just don't like the whole hot-headed, arrogant angsty teenager shtick. 😬

And the very first Shizuka mention! I wonder if Takahashi-sensei planned her from the start or only came up with her when he planned this arc? I'm thinking the latter, or he would've at least thought of her when thinking about the prize money that one chapter. I'm guessing the mom chose not to take Jounouchi because he was a ~troublemaker~, or she couldn't afford both of them.

Okay for once I need a break from Yugioh. 😵
